"YogaChill" Meditation & Restorative Yoga with Melanie

Doctors recommend meditation for stress reduction, and Sunday night is a great time to balance yourself and recharge for the week ahead. Restorative postures help your body relax- you will be lying or sitting on the floor, supported by props like bolsters or blankets, in positions that will release muscular tension and mental clutter. This peaceful class is designed to quiet your mind and is suitable for everyone who can get down on the floor. Guided meditation following the restorative postures may be done seated on the floor or in a chair.

Therapeutic Yoga

Private classes with Audrey, Director of the Yoga Center, to address specific physical challenges or chronic conditions. Audrey will work with you and your physician, chiropractor or physical therapist, if desired, to design a program for healing, stress and trauma reduction, and pain relief.

Pre-Natal Yoga

No previous yoga experience is required for this gentle and nurturing class. Pre-natal yoga practice helps develop strength,  flexibility, relaxation, and breath awareness.  Tara Stivers, a certified doula (birth coach), instructs this class, which can supplement your chosen childbirth class.
