The Studio has Bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps available. Or you can bring your own.
This class is designed to quiet your mind and is suitable for everyone who can get down on the floor.
You are supported by the wall, bolsters and blankets in restorative postures which help release muscular tension
Doctors recommend meditation to reduce stress and the Guided Mindful Meditations help clear the day’s mental clutter.
“I often refer to restorative yoga poses as “active relaxation. By supporting the body with props, we alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. Some poses have an overall benefit. Others target an individual part, such as the lungs or heart. All create specific physiological responses which are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of stress-related disease.”
